Why Krishna didn't marry Radha ???

How did this topic emerge today...? While discussing lord Krishna s marriages with my son, he had this question that when Krishna could marry so many women why wouldn't he marry Radha?

To this I had this reply for him.. Mythology is a debatable topic but this is my perception ....

Lord Krishna did not marry Radha to prove that Love and Marriage are two different things...love is a selfless emotion while marriage is an agreement or arrangement... Krishna acknowledged the divine and untainted love of Radha with His divine grace. The Radha Krishna love story is an instance of the zealous pursuit of spirituality apringing forth eternally from the individual self towards the universal self. Some limitation is imposed by the sense of 'duty' that husband and wife naturally acquire towards one another. This sense of duty is beautiful, but the highest type of love is even more beautiful. It is so profound that it requires no sense of duty – and flows absolutely spontaneously – breaking all things that stand in its path.

Thus, the pure transcendental love that Radha Krishna enjoy on the highest level of bliss (paramānanda), expresses itself in the form of being paramours, not husband and wife.” Hence when the relationship between a man and woman is limited to marriage, Radha Krishna relationship transcends all definitions that are earthly, physical and material.

The above version is something I found on internet but posted this as I thoroughly agree with this perception but I have more to add here... Society doesn't approve of man and woman in any close or intimate relationship unless they have the label of marriage....to the extent when Krishna married most of his wives as he rescued them and only giving shelter to them would have been disrespectful to those women hence the status of wife.... Radha on the other hand was beyond these labels... Precisely why we always say "Radheshyam ","Radhe Radhe ", Radha Krishna ","Radhe Gopal", no wife of Krishna is worshipped along with him as much as Radha... This can also mean that despite marrying women, Krishna was purely in love with only Radha as she was a part of him. Radha is the epitome of SURRENDER in love which is the primary requirement to feel the oneness with your beloved.

Also, Radha being no princess, no royal upbringing, clearly suggests that love is beyond these mundane things... It involves only and only PURITY OF HEART....

6 situations in a relationship when it’s worth lying

Sometimes lying. In some cases, lying can help you cheer up your partner or even may save your life. 1. When you leave an aggressive partner. If you have decided to get out of a destructive relationship and you’re preparing to step back, you’re free to lie. Your main task is to draw his attention to save money, to gather your things, to make contacts with people who will help you get out of this relation. The aggressor’s reaction is unpredictable if he understands that the victim is escaping. Therefore, it is better to stay alive and healthy than fair and honest. #2. When the partner asks, “Have you ever loved someone more than you love me?” If you have not previously agreed on absolute honesty, then answer “no”. Let’s admit that there was a stronger feeling in your life than the current one. Who will feel better if you tell the truth? #3. When you make a surprise Usually, the man who a surprise is being prepared may open his third eye and also the ability to see through the wall...

Spirituality & Death

What is spirituality? What is death? Do we live on after death? What happens to us? Does it even make sense to ask questions like “What is my future after death”? My spiritual quest began at a young age, although I didn’t know that it was called spirituality. But I dwelt deeper into life due to my love for Quantum Mechanics. I will write a blog on that some other time. But for now, I’ll stick to the topic of my blog. Spirituality is anything beyond the physical dimension and not for the faint-hearted. Because what any yogic practice does, is that it dilutes your strong likes and dislikes, perceptions or ego etc… So, many people fear loosing themselves in the process as they are too attached with themselves or the world around them. But that’s just half of the story. We all have a “warehouse” of Karma that needs to be worked out. Our past and present life karma, likes and dislikes, desires for material pleasures (even spiritual pleasures) keeps us in bondage and we end up getting re-inc...

Here’s to the wild ones. Here’s to you...

Here’s to the fallen, the broken and the shattered.  To the warriors who know that to be cracked is to let the light in deeper.  Who know that the best fruit is on the very tip of the branch and the brightest jewels are hidden within the roughest of surfaces. Here’s to the ones intoxicated by the burning of the winds of change in their lungs and who live in the lands that others fear to tread. Here’s to the ones who raise their voices to the heavens even though they don’t always know the words. Here’s to the rare beings who walk the road less travelled, taking the adventure that rises on this path with purpose and passion. Here’s to the rebels, the heartsick originals, and the bittersweet loneliness that fuels their spirit.  To the ones who won’t conform, back down or step aside.  To the ones who were not born to fit in but to gloriously stand out.  To those who are here to be midwives of the genuine. Here’s to the awakened ones whose purpose is to f...
